She is one of my my best friends.
How does their personality dictate your artistic decisions?
Her funny but serious personality dictated the artistic decisions I made with these photos.
How has this unit affected your photography?
This unit made me more comfortable with the camera and I enjoyed shooting pictures outside of the school.
I like the use of black and white to capture the natural look in the composition. The incorporation of props in the last photo captures your subject's personality well, and I think you could have used more props in the other photos. The second photo uses great composition, avoiding a distracting background while capturing the whole subject.

DeleteI like the way you used different scenery and different props to demonstrate the persons personality. Also, I like the use of black and white you used to enhance the depth of composition and saturation.
ReplyDeleteIn the back natural lighting picture you used the sunlight very well to create a very light part of her hair. The black and white adds to make the pictures better. good job and keep up the great work
ReplyDeleteFor the side natural light photo it seems as if your subject has a funny or not serious personality. The way that she has her eyes shut and to the side with a smile on her face shows me that she is funny and carefree at that time. The way the natural sunlight catches the side of her face and illuminates only one side is a great example of what we have learned in this past unit. It gives the subject a sense of being care-free as I had already mentioned. A suggestion for you if you were to ever do this picture again is to try and have the side natural light take up more of her face because it seemed to be only 1/4th of her face covered in sun. but a very nice picture and blog post overall.
